Mysterious Story of Lulusar Lake
Local people say that this
is the historical lake where fairies used to come and bathe during daylight.
But now due to rush of people and running roads, the fairies have stopped
coming during the day. Maybe they come at night now.
In ancient days, the
fairies used to come to Lulusar Lake during the day, but now they probably come
to a lake located at end corner of Gatidas.
Lulusar Lake and Dudipatsar
These are two beautiful
lakes in the valley at a distance of 34 km from Batkundi. Since the route is
difficult, few tourists come here. However, not every beautiful place is for
everyone.
For those who show
determination and courage, Allah has kept some valleys away from the highway.
This 3-km long Lulusar Lake is the source of Kunhar River.
A jeep comes here, while
one has to trek for 5-6 hours to reach Dudipatsar Lake. This road passes
through Naran and joins Chilas on the Karakoram Highway via Babusar Top. From
Babusar Top, a magnificent view of Nanga Parbat and several high peaks is
possible.

Valley this summer vacation. This trip will always be fresh in your memories.
